Moving out

April 1st, 2008 No comments

Finally we have reached a point where the rough house we bought back in November 2007, is ready for human occupancy. That brings our 1,5 years in a borrowed house to an end! I will post new photos of the house this week under private photos (contact me to get the pass code).

Otherwise we are preparing for a visit from Sweden and next Saturday and then 2 weeks later Mia will go to Sweden herself for 2 weeks and I will of course be going to my university buddy’s, Jon Skipper, wedding in early May.

I will also strive to write more interesting things here and maybe even use it in connection with my finishing of my History study at the University of Southern Denmark.

Når regnen regner; oppe på taget..

Well that is what I call proper rain. It has been raining heavily for the last 2 days here on the Spanish “white coast”. Actually the rain has washed a bridge away just one and a half hour away fro mus in Beniarbeig inland from Denía killing a poor woman in the process. In our end of the Costa Blanca it has been less dramatic but the thunder and lightning has prevented me from having popcorns as the microwave just flashed out! And they call this sunny Spain!!

Tomorrow we will have to clean up the house as we are having an unpaid arrival coming in Sunday before noon (read Mias grandmother Ruth); that will stay with us for the next month. Meanwhile the hunt for a home continues.
