Skt:a Lucia

December 13th, 2007 No comments

Getting even closer to the Christmas we were invited to join the Old Peoples Club in La Marina to celebrate Saint Lucia (a Swedish / Italian saintress who caries lights in her hair). While I would have loved to post pictures of myself dressed as a bride of Lucia; I was unfortunately not able to take any pictures of the procession as I was part of it.. Photos posted in album Winter 2007. Ohh.. and I forgot to mention to myself that Mia has stopped smoking 9 days ago. And I am still alive.

Getting ready for the Juletide

December 7th, 2007 No comments

With the temperatures climbing from the cold 10 degrees we were experiencing in November to around 20-25 degrees here in December; it is getting hard to prepare for Christmas. However as we have just bought a house that needs a caring hand we have decided to use this as an excuse to not celebrating the birth of our lord saviour.

Also this is the first time in the last 10 months that we are alone, which we are using as an excuse to quit smoking and loosing weight. Not exactly something that goes together with a normal Christmas! Note that a few pictures from Mr. Anders visit last week has been uploaded to the photo gallery.
