I write these lines on my trusted companion SIT007, full-well knowing that he is not feeling too good. He came into life in late 2002 and became my trusted work horse in the spring of 2003. He has traveled with me around the world and has been the focal point of my intellectual endeavors for the last almost 5 years. He is a Compaq Evo N800v, and has definitely been the best laptop one could ever wish for.
The computer has a Mobile Pentium 4 processor, operating at 2 GHz, with 512 Mb RAM, 15″ screen with a resolution of 1400 x 1050 pixels and an 80 GB harddisk. However he will hardly live to see the year 2008 and is now starting to discharge small electric charges when you touch his sides.. indeed a sad story..
