After much pressure I have finally chosen to invest in a Palm Treo 680. This fantastic mobile will let me surf the internet, access my e-mail, talk on the phone and even find my way via GPS.
Unfortunately the poor phone arrived (or I picked it up as UPS wasn’t able to find our house) with a cracked display. We will see what happens with this problem as I understand from various angry fori and blogs that this is a common issue that Palm will not include within their warranty.
However the nice Cecilia on their helpdesk assured me that I would have a new phone with me in a jiff (read 1 – 2 weeks). We will see what happens..
